Italian-Bursa Fusion Touch from Danilo Zanna and Atakan Özen in Bursa

Organized by the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality under the theme "Conquering Flavors," the 5th International Bursa Gastronomy Festival set the stage for vibrant moments bringing the city’s culinary heritage together with world cuisine. One of the most popular areas of the festival, the "Gastro Stage," hosted inspiring talks and entertaining kitchen performances for gastronomy enthusiasts.

Italian Discipline Meets Bursa’s Local Heritage

Making a mark on the second day of the festival, the "Creative Fusion Cuisine with Bursa’s Geographically Indicated Products" event brought together beloved celebrity chef Danilo Zanna, Tola Restaurant’s founder chef Atakan Özen, and Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Şahin Biba on the same stage.

Synthesizing Bursa’s registered geographically indicated products from its fertile lands with the refined techniques and presentation style of Italian cuisine, the chefs crafted an original fusion dish prepared live on stage.
